Merry Christmas and Thank You

A quick 2023 round up

I hope everyone has a good festive break. I have added a few of you that I have communicated with before to this newsletter mainly because I want to ask for photos of the works you have purchased in your homes. Of all the sales in the photo below, I have only had photos of three of the paintings [thank you Neera & Rahul]. If you want to be removed from the list let me know although they are pretty sporadic. The previous one was in September!

Most of these sales have come in the latter half of the year and 11 of the 18 sold from the Woodfield Pavilion [so thank you Janet]. There are two paintings in the current Woodfield Winter Exhibition, which runs until January 28th and may be the last show I am in before the move to Cornwall. I have been accepted into the Penzance Studios group so I hope shows will be forthcoming there before long and I will be up on their site in the new year.

So, other than the aforementioned sales I can report that I failed in the following Open Calls: RA Summer Exhibition, Townhouse Summer Open, TRA Collective, Marshwood Awards, ING Discerning Eye, Guildford House and the London Group. I was also turned down by Conart and Artcan. On the plus side I did succeed in the Swanfall Art open call at the Mall Galleries, was featured by New & Abstract and exhibited in New Zealand [thank you Luana]. In all I was in 13 exhibitions, 2 of them solo.
